| Print Quality | |||||||||
When you consider getting a canvas print there are a few things you must to take into account. First is the print quality - goes without saying. Secondly the materials and skills used to make the print into the finished piece. Thirdly the overall service you receive.
BEWARE: Many companies providing canvas prints fail their customers because of their method. They use poor or old print technique and materials that can allow the canvas to damage easily. Tearing due to paper based canvas, poor ink jet print quality allowing scuffs to damage the ink surface, loose fitting, cracking print are the usual pitfalls. WE GUARANTEE You will get perfect likeness in print quality, long lasting. WE GUARANTEE
But these things happen on half the canvasses sold by other companies. Further more, because we use the original 'wedge' method you can maintain a tight stretch of your canvas over the years by tapping the corner wedges if needs be. That is the correct way to keep the canvas firm! Most companies have removed the wedge factor from their production to reduce their costs - but that means canvas will become floppy over time with no way to tighten it up. We keep this important feature on all our canvasses. Wedges are important! Our service to our customers is simple and straightforward - we listen to you, we follow instructions, we raise concerns, we meet your expectations (in the very least), and we are at the end of the phone! Have your photos printed on real canvas (not plastic coated) and then custom hand stretched over pine stretcher frame with gallery wrap. Your canvas prints are made only with the best materials and should last a lifetime. Some canvas suppliers may use inferior quality frames, or could print using poor inkjet technology, and some do not include wedges on the reverse of the frame. This is essential for preserving the taughtness of your canvas over time.
We gallery wrap printed canvas around edge of frame (unless key features are on edge) to make a neat and stylish finish ready-to-hang canvas print. You can order and upload your photo now, or choose to send photos by post. |

| If you are scanning your picture yourself, make sure the subject has enough room around it to fit the shape of your order dimensions. Please take into account that the printed image gets wrapped around to the reverse of the stretcher bar frame. This means approximately 2-3cm of your image (on all four sides) will not be visible 'head on' when looking at the finished piece or (4-5cm on deeper frame). Please be sure to avoid any key subject at the very edge of the photo. We do our very best to avoid losing any key features on the edge, but it is worth noting this point at the stage of choosing your picture. | |||||||||
